Evidence
Information for evidence collection, submission and case acceptance.
Handbook for the Investigator
The primary resource for information regarding collection and preservation of exhibits is the Handbook for the Investigator. This handbook also provides guidance with respect to routinely accepted case and item types.
Urgent Cases
A section manager can authorize an urgent examination based on the specific needs of the investigation. Contact the laboratory prior to submission or as soon as possible thereafter to provide your specific set of circumstances. The manager will then evaluate if there is a need for the laboratory to provide rapid response.
